Rehabilitation at YMCA practice

MCPhysio's YMCA practice is just steps from the gym. This gives us the excellent ability to progress your rehabilitation programme to include weight machines and free weights into your recovery programme.

Any medical appointment can be a bit daunting prior to attending.  When you come to MCPhysio for a physio session you can expect the following:

1) Discussion about the symptoms that you are experiencing.  The physio will ask you what your injury is, how it behaves and how it started.

2) An assessment of the injured area is needed to work out what your diagnosis is.  The physio will run you throug a set of tests of movement, strength and function.

3) A diagnosis will be made.  We will discuss the likely reasons for the injury / pain you have and come up with a plan to improve / fix things.

4) Treatment will then start.

We believe in the concept of Your Choice Health care.  This means that YOU choose your Physiotherapy and health care provider.  This is the case with all healthcare, including workcover and TAC injuries.  Speak to us soon to access our services as YOUR choice of provider.

We have a wide range of sports and general physio products including tapes, braces and rehabilitation aids.  If we don't have something you need in stock, we will gladly order it in for you.
